The Anniversary Gift

I have been taking pictures and scrap booking for a very long time now.

Recently though, I have been taking more portrait type pictures.. and even shot a wedding.

I have another wedding that I am shooting in two weeks and I was complaining about my camera. Not that my camera isn't nice.. It's great actually. I just got it for Christmas this past year from my parents. But they didn't know.. and neither did I.. that I was this good at taking pictures. (Yea.. I am bragging on myself a little, but I love my pictures.)

So it came down to shutter speed and clarity. My nice new camera just can't compete.

Since our anniversary was coming up.. my husband decided he was tired of my complaining and moaning.. so he bought me a new camera.

Meet the Nikon D3100.




I am in love.

I am still learning how to use it, but every day is easier and easier.
