The Charm Bracelet

I want to share with you one of my most cherished items.. my charm bracelet.

I got the bracelet as a wedding gift from my maid of honor. Since then... I have chosen my charms very carefully. There is a great little hole in the wall charm store in Beaumont that I visit about once a year. Their quality is equal to that of James Avery, but their cost is much cheaper.

One day I will pass the bracelet on to one of my children and I hope they appreciate the memories behind every charm.

I got this charm the day we found we were having a boy.

I got this charm last year. John and I see the nutcracker every year, so it's something special we share.

I got this charm the day we found out at the Dr. Office that we were pregnant.

I got the ribbon charm a few weeks ago. It represents the role that cancer plays in our life and family.

The carriage represents our honeymoon.

We went to Disney World and this reminds me of Cinderella's carriage.

This represents Joshua's first birthday.

This crown was given to me by my maid of honor.

John and I had a fairy tale wedding.. this is my princess crown.

This represents the love John and I have for one another.

This is the wedding bell.

The crayons represent Joshua's first day of preschool.

The Knight represents John.
He is my Knight in Shining Armor.

(he signs all his letters and cards as my knight)

This represents the cruise that we will all be going on in 2012.

This, of course, represents our union.

This represents our first house together.

It really looks like the front of our house!

This is for Joshua's baptism.

I still have plenty of room on my charm bracelet.

That means plenty of room to make more memories with my loving family.

I can't wait!!!
