Anyways, his sister Sheree and her two kids Hallee and Hudson came to stay the weekend. We were all very excited, but I don't think anyone was as excited as Joshua. He love his cousins so dearly, and they love him. I really wish they lived closer.. I'm sure they do to, since they are avid beach lovers.
Christmas gifts were exchanged and we were all so excited. The expressions on the kids faces were priceless, and us adults all got presents we really enjoy. (BTW: I love mine.. I got a Better homes and garden wax warmer - its going to go great in my bedroom)
No traditional Christmas for us though, I was too tired to cook. So we loaded up the kids and took them to Joshua favorite place - The Pizza Place - aka Double Daves. Joshua had a blast as always and Hallee and Hudson looked like they were having a wonderful time. They even proclaimed it as the 'best pizza they have ever had.' Score! We are so happy the loved it. Traditional. No. Good. Yes. Plus because the kids can wander off and play, we adults get to have.. well.. a little adult conversation that doesn't involve the latest Disney movie or hottest toy on the market.
All in all, it was a great time. I was very sad that they had to leave and go back, but hopefully they will visit again soon. Hopefully when the weather is a little warmer and we can all go kick back at the beach.
